Beat Time! app good for
Great App, but Beat Time doesnt work with iOS9 now. I hope it will be fixe asap.
The App crashes the entire iPad2 when I open my iPod Library to import a song. I had to delete it. Good idea but with a very bad bug. I will wait for an update.
It works with iPhone 4 but it crashes with iPod touch 3rd Generation when I open the iPod Library. Note recognisation only with one single Instrument.
This app is now amazing :D i love the timestretch and i have time to learn the music with this app
Interesting tool for jazz music learning.
Many keyboard music on iTunes that can be learned easily at low speed.
Could be improved by allowing step forward/backward moving. That would help catching chords.
Good job guys.
Awesome LOVE it! The added IAA feature is just what I needed this is great! I would give this app 6 stars if they bring back the old background with the red curtains, it makes me feel warm and cozy!
Extremely useful. This apps virtue lies in its simplicity. Find a video, loop a segment and slow it down. Your time and energy is focused on your musical study and is not distracted by technological activities.
Some bad moments
This has a similar layout to Transcribe!, a great transcribing program Ive been using for years, so i decided to take the plunge. Risky, since there was no reviews and no trial app.
The first problem I encountered is barely any instructions exist. Took me a while just to get a loop set up, but when I did, the sound quality was excellent. Video and audio playback worked very well and retained great sound quality without typical warbles, even at low speeds.
From first impressions, The piano and spectrum analysis tools dont really seem to be doing anything. Nor does the guitar tab tool. No instructions whatsoever on how they are to be used, so for all I know I could be using it wrong. With Transcribe!, hitting the piano key in correspondence with the associated peak in the wave spectrum analysis tool helped you identify the correct note being played. In this app, it doesnt seem to do anything.
Finally, going back to the main menu to look at your settings does not allow you to get back to your project without having to reload everything all over again.
This app is fairly new and seems to offer alot of capabilities for the price, so I hope to see updates and an FAQ put up on the devs web page to help get the most out of this app. It would be nice to work on my transcriptions away from my computer.
Ive used plenty of slow downer type apps, and this is among the best!
It does what it says and does it well
This app its a champ in the sound quality when you slowdown a video! Great costumer service too!
Unusable! The main idea of this app, to slow music down and help identify tones is a great, but the audio selection interface is terrible. Selecting any "jump to" letter in the music list always brings up "C" first, and its impossible to accurately select a letter. OK, so you scroll; but this always results in a crash. Once loaded, its nearly impossible to select an accurate portion for looping or isolation. There needs to be in and out point buttons, and the ability to save these cue points with the file for future reference, but first fix the buggy audio selection interface.
This app has been very helpful with learning extremely difficult songs especially intros and endings. Yeah!!
This app offers powerful and intuitive features for any musician needing a little extra help in slowing down riffs or changing keys (pitch). While there are certainly other uses for theses features for non-musicians, I find this to be a must-have tool for all musicians who learn or chart songs off of existing audio or video files! Dropbox integration and support for iPhone/pod/pad means I always have access to this whenever and wherever its needed.
